Get to know me
Hello,
My name is Emily, I'm 24 and have over 6 years experience in photographing animals. I specialise in photographing people and their pets whether that be equine or canine. I have also photographed at local shows, events and the beach.
I started my career in photography from a very young age. When going up the yard with my friends I would often take photos of them in their riding lessons, at shows or out on a hack. I soon discovered that I loved capturing still moments of the connection between the rider and their beloved pet. Whether that be when riding, in hand or with their dog. Over the years I have also developed and perfected a special interest in portraiture.
I have a level 3 Diploma in Equine Management and a BSc Hons in Veterinary Physiotherapy, because of this I have developed a good eye for movement and how best to capture it! I have excellent knowledge in breed characteristics and how best they may photograph.
